At Ease!

2nd. Vice-Presidents Message - Continued

well received and Gordy actually kept it short and needed only one 5 minute extension.  Both gentlemen will travel to Louisville KY.the last week of July to present this program summary to the delegates present from across the Country at the VVA National Convention.  Congratulations are in order to the guys for the months and months of work they have put into this program.  Additionally, the program has received acclaim from the local VAMC officials and has been selected as a candidate for possible VA wide adoption.

The NYS Fair is approaching--the Chapter sorely needs help to man our booth from 3:00 PM to closing at 8:00 each night. This is a money making operation for the chapter, plus gets our name seen by the public.  Free admission and free parking is included.  Come to July and August meetings to get more information.  We expect the Air guard to have a Predator on display at the tent this year.

For the good of the Chapter,

Ronald Fairbank

Notes From the Printer's Devil

The ink stained wretch who slaves away in the basement print shop also welcomes you to the Chapter 103  E-Newsletter.

Please consider this first edition an "At Ease Light." I am learning new software and the intricacies of newsletter production and dissemination.  I will, however, endeavor to improve the appearance and readability of future editions of "At-Ease."

In addition to producing this newsletter, I have also been working on the Chapter website .  Several of the website pages have recently been updated.  The "Board of  Directors and Contacts"  page of the website has been updated to reflect the current Chapter 103 officeholders, Directors and committee chairs.

The "Watchfire" page of the Chapter website has also been updated.  Please take a few minutes to review that page and  enjoy a web presentation of the 2009 Watchfire.

The internet address of the Chapter webpage is:  www.cnyvva103.org

The Chapter  monthly meetings are held at American Legion Post 188, 205 Cypress St., Liverpool, NY at 7:00 PM on the third Thursday of each month.

And finally, we ask that you remember the advertisers who support this newsletter and other Chapter 103 projects.

Yours in Service,

Fred Brough, Sr
