The Medal of Honor - 
During the Vietnam War, 248 Medals of Honor were received, 156 of them posthumously. Soldiers of the Army received the most with 161, followed by 57 to the Marines, 16 to the Navy and the remaining 14 to the Air Force.   The Vietnam Service Medal - 
The medal is issued to recognize military service during the Vietnam War and is authorized to service members in every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.   The National Defense Service Medal - 
The National Defense Service Medal is a service medal issued during qualifying periods of national emergency.   The Purple Heart - 
The Purple Heart is a United States military decoration awarded in the name of the President to those wounded or killed, while serving with the U.S. military.   The Air Medal - 
The Air Medal is a military award created in 1942 and is awarded for meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight.   The Bronze Star - 
The Bronze Star Medal is the fourth-highest individual military award. It may be awarded for acts of heroism, acts of merit, or meritorious service in a combat zone.   Distinguished Service Cross - 
The DSC is the second highest military award for extreme gallantry and risk of life in actual combat with an armed enemy force.   Meritorius Service Medal
The MSM is an award presented for outstanding meritorious achievement or service to the United States.   The Silver Star - 
The Silver Star, is the third highest military decoration for valor awarded for gallantry in action against an enemy of the United States.
